Chain Rule

Here you will find the forebears of Richard Griffiths and Susan Wuzik and an index to part of the 1861 census of the UK.

The family history includes family trees, notes and lists of surnames, together with scans of photographs and relevant certificates.

The transcription of the 1861 Census is a searching aid which covers part of the Black Country in the UK. It includes, roughly, the parishes of Dudley, Netherton, Rowley Regis, Reddall Hill, Halesowen, Lye, Cradley, Quarry Bank, Amblecote, Oldswinford, Kingswinford and Brierley Hill, which have been the main areas of my research, and part of Quinton (because it was there !). At present it contains over 150,000 individuals and can be searched, for free, on line.

NEW !
To help both newcomers and more experienced researchers here is a summary of the changes to the calendar in 1752 and details of the types of information on Parish Registers of different ages.
